Freescale FRDM-KL25Z
This is a demo board for the Freescale Cortex-M0+ CPU.
Headers
The FRDM-KL25Z doesn't come with header sockets, the following items were bought to fulfil this requirement.
1 x TE CONNECTIVITY / AMP-215307-6-SOCKET, VERTICAL, 2ROW, 12WAY 2 x TE CONNECTIVITY / AMP-215307-8-SOCKET, VERTICAL, 2ROW, 16WAY 1 x TE CONNECTIVITY / AMP-1-215307-0-SOCKET, VERTICAL, 2ROW, 20WAY
One day I may solder them in place.
Bootloader
Out the box this board doesn't work at all with anything.
You have to download new firmware to upgrade it from version 0.11 to something higher. Somehow I managed to get it working using Windows XP in a VirtualBox VM.
Once that worked I updated it to J-Link for NXP. Good luck.
