Multi-Plane Overlay allows a application to run “full-screen” in a window (from my understanding at least).
Somehow or other this can result in a black screen flicker from time to time when using the browser.
Disabling MPO stops the problem occurring.
reg add HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Dwm /v OverlayTestMode /t REG_DWORD /d 5
