==== Microchip DM164140 - MPLABXpress Evaluation Board ====

This is a well constructed demo board for the PIC16F18855
PICMicro and the EMC1001 temperature sensor.

The board is complete with an on-board ICSP programmer which
is presented to the host O/S as a flash drive. Copying a file
to the drive will program the PICMicro.

This board is designed for online development using the
MPLABXpress development system, although this is not a
requirement.

On this wiki page I intend to explore this board feature by
feature and demonstrate how to operate it using [[:tools:gputils|GPUTILS]].

[[:projects:pickle|Pickle Microchip ICSP]] will
be presented to demonstrate programming the PICMicro using a Raspberry Pi
rather than via the flash drive interface.
